The National Park Authority is an institution of the Office for Conservation Areas in the state-owned Saxony Forestry Service (Sachsenforst).

The Saxon Switzerland National Park Authority is a modern service provider for nature and people. In addition to our natural conservation, forestry and economic tasks we provide a range of offers for our guests and residents of Saxon Switzerland to experience and discover nature and landscapes in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. You are more than welcome to visit us! We are also available to answer questions for owners and users of forest land, open land or waters as well as for municipalities, associations, organisations and citizens of the region. We provide advice and a helping hand in issues of natural conservation, landscape management and forestry.
So who is the “National Park Authority”? It is brought to life by foresters, conservationists, geographers, educators and administrators who are involved, on a daily basis, in the preservation and enjoyment of the natural environment and landscapes.
