Welcome
to the National Park Region - your holiday has begun!

Allow our website to get you ready for your visit to us. The Saxon Switzerland National Park is only 40 kilometers south of Dresden, state capital of Saxony.

Your journey to us begins with planning your route. We recommend using public transportation. If you would prefer not to leave your car behind, however, you can drive from Dresden in the direction of Prague on the A17, taking the slip road/exit for Pirna. From there, continue in the direction of Bad Schandau or Lohmen, then further into the national park region.

You will find suggestions and tips for planning your holiday on our website. Take your time and have a look around.

Remember that you won't be able to explore everything all at once. So come back another time and begin your next holiday where the last one ended!

Keep it simple.
